ReplyDelete1. Eastern Michigan - Yikes, both teams have had 8-game losing streaks, and EMU has not yet beaten a 1-A opponent.
2. Louisiana Tech - When 'winning occasionally' is the only bar you're looking to clear...
3. North Carolina - The Tarheels could give WMU a run for their money.
4. TCU - What happened to the Horned Frogs? Still, Iowa State is dreadful.
5. LA-Monroe - I hope we get to pick the Monroe-Lafayette rivalry in a couple weeks. That game's shaping up to be a barn-burner.

ReplyDeleteEastern Michigan def. Western Michigan: Well, at least we know one person that will be excited for this game, even if no one else in America (including the friends and family of all of the participants in the game) will be.
Louisiana Tech def. Southern Miss.: Wasn't Louisiana Tech a front runner (at least in the early part of the season) last year to be a BCS buster? How the mighty have fallen...
North Carolina def. Virginia: Would be much more entertaining (or, at least moderately moreso) if this was a basketball game.
TCU def. Iowa State: 11 PM on Thursday night...and I got nothing. Mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #11 (9-1 record in such games so far this season, wow!)
LA-Monroe def. Arkansas State: Arkansas State has a pretty bad a** mascot, but not bad a** enough to defeat LA-Monroe.
