    1. Ohio State - Surely the Buckeyes' O-line can hold against the Flashes, right?
    2. Georgia - No comment.
    3. Penn State - Is newly bowl-eligible Penn State the new favorite to represent the B1G East in the title game?
    4. Iowa - Iowa State came up just short last week. This game will be less close.
    5. Texas Tech - Arkansas football was just mentioned on the radio, but they were talking about Mark Pryor, so that probably doesn't say much for the team.
    6. Idaho - Vandals!

  5. Ohio State, 35-10 (despite four missed Nurenberger FGs)
Georgia - Picked them to win it all in '12. May have been two years premature
Penn State - They went all the way to Ireland to beat UCF; they can beat Rutgers in Piscataway
Iowa St. - Hungrier of two very bland teams wins this snoozer
Arkansas - Does Bielema own a motorcycle, like the last Hog coach?
Idaho - Idaho who's gonna win this one--I'm just guessing...

  12. Funtik

Yikes! Two weeks into the Guest Panel season and the big bad hog is already two full games behind the big bad leader! Here's to picking up a game or two this week on the leader. Funtik is feeling confident after a less than stellar effort last week...

Ohio State def. Kent State: Although he predicted the Buckeyes to win last week vs. the Hokie Pokies, he sort of saw this coming. Lest we forget, the mighty Midshipmen of Navy outplayed our favorite team for the first three quarters of the season opener, and who knows what would have happened in that game without the two huge plays for the Buckeyes. As much as we all want to see Barrett & Co. do well this season, with him and an offensive line with four new starters (another huge factor), we're looking at an Outback Bowl berth (at best) this season for our favorite poisonous nuts.

Georgia def. South Carolina: Although the game is in Columbia and that certainly counts for something, the mighty 'Cocks has been mediocre at best in its two games thus far, the barkin' Dawgs have been pretty spectacular overall. I'm not quite ready to call Georgia the best team in the SEC yet (Alabama still holds that title until further notice), but would anyone really bet against Georgia right now?!?! It's somewhat risky, but mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #3 (1-1 record thus far this season; hey, can you really blame me for last week's pick?!?!).

Penn State def. Rutgers: So is this going to be considered the big conference rivalry game for these two schools now? The collective sigh and shrug of the shoulders can be heard around the conference.

Iowa def. Iowa State: I'm fairly certain that no one outside the great state of Iowa cares about this game. Hence, the reason why Mr. Moderator selected it for the Guest Panel.

Arkansas def. Texas Tech: A much more difficult game to select than it appears. Nevertheless, should be a very fun game to watch. For the drunken degenerate gamblers in the audience (i.e., 95% of you), whatever the over/under is, take the over.

Western Michigan def. Idaho: It took three full weeks for the Moderator to finally give the Guest Panel a game involving a directional Michigan school to select. Frankly, I am shocked, disappointed, angry, and even kind of embarrassed for the Moderator. If you're gonna be the Guest Panel Moderator, stay true to your love.

  13. Funtik

Now the moment all of Funtik the Hog's loyal readers and fans have been waiting three weeks for: Funtik the Hog's College Football Man Crush of the 2014 Season. Let me preface this pick by saying I did not select this very worthy player by virtue of his amazing first season in intercollegiate D1 football, capped off with a Heisman Trophy and a national championship. Let me also preface this selection by stating that in no way, shape, or form does Funtik the Hog tolerate breaking the law, and this particular player has been accused of numerous serious and disturbing felonies (none of which he has been formally charged with though). No, Funtik the Hog selects Florida State QB "Famous" Jameis Winston as his College Football Man Crush of the 2014 Season because HE STOLE CRAB LEGS AND CRAWFISH FROM A GROCERY STORE! Yes, a Heisman Trophy winning QB, a man who everyone in the entire State of Florida instantly recognizes, decided, being of sound mind and body, that he was going to into a grocery store, and attempt to walk out of said grocery store with $30-something worth of delicious, mouth-watering crab legs and crawfish (can you tell that those are two of Funtik the Hog's favorite foods?!) without paying for them!!! To Famous' credit, he pled guilty to his crime, and performed community service at the local YMCA as his punishment. Jameis, you do the delicious, steamed, Old Bay seasoned crime, you do the time. Hey, if you're gonna steal some food from your local Acme store, why not make it a meal that is the meal of kings?!?! For all these reasons, and many more, Famous Jameis Winston is Funtik the Hog's College Football Man Crush of the 2014 Season. For more Jameis Winston crab leg fun, please feel free to type "Jameis Winston crab legs" into your Google machine.
