  5. Ohio State, 34-13. Maryland and Rutgers. Who needs those dull OSU-Wisconsin/Nebraska games every year when we get to play these two teams, huh?!?
Oklahoma - Sooners sputtering, but will be just a bit better than K-State & my old classmate who's their DC.
Alabama - A&M and their QB have been exposed. They, and Mizzou, giving the SEC what it expected out of those two teams when they first joined.
Florida St. - Free signing by Jameis post-game!
Arizona St. - Such compelling football games in this league. Another game that'll go down to the wire

Idaho - Vandals win the battle between schools from two football mad states

    1) OSU. NOTHING GOOD COMES FROM JERSEY.

    2) OKLAHOMA. SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL LOSE BUT NOT THIS WEEK.

    4) FSU WITH WINSTON. CAN WE HAVE AN OUT ON THIS GAME IF HE DOES GET SUSPENDED AFTER THE PICKS ARE TURNED IN?

    5) STANFORD. SMART KIDS.

    6) IDAHO. NO YOU'S A HO.

  10. Funtik the Hog's first place lead took a bit of a hit last week...where did this Hudy guy come from?!?! But Funtik did survive the always difficult annual Oddball Week with his lead intact, which is an accomplishment in and of itself. Onto this week's picks...

Ohio State def. Rutgers: Somehow the possibility exists that the Buckeyes could scrap their way into the College Football Playoff after all the losses by teams ahead of them. Who would have thought that after the VTech game? Unfortunately that was a bad loss, at home, vs. a team that is mediocre at best this season. But, save a few seasons in the early-mid 2000s, let's not forget this is Rutgers football, after all. Mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #8 (2-5 record in such games so far this season...not sure why I even bother anymore, this is pretty embarrassing).

Oklahoma def. Kansas State: An extremely difficult game to pick, kudos to the Moderator for selecting this game on the schedule. Definitely went back and forth on this one, but giving the Sooners the very slight edge because the game is in Oklahoma. In Kansas, I'd go with the Wildcats. Should be a fun and entertaining game to watch.

Alabama def. Texas A&M: Another difficult game to pick, two (once mighty) struggling teams midway through the season. The Crimson Tide, and Nick Saban, are angry and should show off that anger on Saturday. Not to mention Kenny Hill is not nearly as good as Johnny Manziel.

Florida St. def. Notre Dame: Funtik really likes Notre Dame, and thinks it's an underrated team this season that usually plays one of the best schedules in the entire country each season (such as this game). Despite the repeated (all alleged) follies of Funtik's College Football Man Crush Famous Jameis, the Seminoles have always found a way to win, despite all the distractions. Going with history on this one, but look out for the upset if Golson can minimize the big mistakes.

Stanford def. Arizona St.: Stanford: Both of Stanford's losses have been by 3 points vs. teams ranked in the top 25 (including at Notre Dame). Not much shame in either of those losses. Stanford's defense is still strong, and that should be enough for the Cardinal to win on the road vs. the Sun Devils. Although the Sun Devils do dominate in the attractive female student body population competition, so there's that.

New Mexico St. def. Idaho: NMSU has a conference win, the Vandals do not. That's my analysis, take it or leave it. Thank goodness we're back to the normal amount of oddball games this week.
