Minnesota - Illini firing up the coaching search committee
Louisiana-Monroe - TSU lost to a school that's already firing up the coaching search committee for next year.

ReplyDeleteCongrats to the moderator for a hell of a run last Sunday! I'd like to see JT Barrett keep up with that (although he did run faster in the second half too!)

Ohio State vs. Penn St. - OSU - better score on their first drive and maintain zero turnovers or that damn nittony lion cat call may get the best of them! also gotta keep Von Bell from blowing his coverage... Still not sure how he always ends up 10 yards in front of his man giving up big plays???
2. Maryland vs. Wisconsin - Wisconsin - note to maryland fans... please disregard the badger fans who are peeing on your feet while at the urinal or spitting on you in the stands... It's just fans being fans, right?
3. Rutgers vs. Nebraska - Nebraska wins but Pelini looses his manhood as lude photos of him with his cat and the grumpy cat surface on snapchat (mr. jinx had opposable thumbs, right?)
4. Michigan vs. Michigan St. - MSU - even if sparty pulls a sparty they should still win this one as (fat) Brady Hoke would simply be happy winning the coin toss at this point in the season!

Who is this Hudy guy, and where did he come from?!?! Two weeks ago Funtik had a comfortable two game lead, and two weeks (and picking a higher ranked team to lose at home...not sure what I was thinking with that one) later, he's in a dead heat with Hudy Hoo. Less time clairvoyant snout bucket rummaging, more time on research and making take it to the bank college football picks. On that note...
ReplyDeleteOhio State def. Penn State: White out, shmite out. When your best win halfway through the season is vs. Rutgers, you know you're not doing too well. Not that the Buckeyes can say much themselves, but at least they're ranked and back in the College Football Playoff discussion. Makes you wonder, presuming Miller comes back all good and healthy in 2015, is he automatically the starting QB again, given how well Barrett has played since early September?
Wisconsin def. Maryland: I've seen Maryland live in hog, and this hog was not impressed. Wisconsin has Melvin Gordon, Jump Around, and bratwursts. Maryland has a rush defense that gives up 200 yards/game, some lame fight song, and blue crabs (the kind you eat, not the kind you transmit to another person). Well, 1 out of 3 ain't bad, I suppose, but not enough to give the Terps the W.
Nebraska def. Rutgers: I sure hope Rutgers and Maryland are enjoying the extra money in their pockets from the Big Ten, because it sure as heck ain't showing up in the W-L column.
Michigan St. def. Michigan: Since it's basically a given that Michigan loses this game (and on that note, mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #9; 3-5 record in such games thus far...inching back up towards the .500 mark, Lord willing!), the only suspense remains what bonehead mistake will Big Daddy Hoke will manage to pull off. Anyone ever seen the movie Dead Man Walking? I'm pretty sure Big Daddy Hoke was the title character (pause for applause and laughter...). I'll be here all week folks!
Minnesota def. Illinois: Funtik paid a visit to the great state of Minnesota this past summer. An underrated state overall, despite the fact that the average high temperature in the winter is about 5 degrees, and the vast majority of the state is flat farmland. And the college football team ain't half bad. It ain't half good either, but ain't half bad.
Louisiana-Monroe def. Texas St.: The Malone Stadium home field advantage comes up huge for the Warhawks in this game. What?!?!
