Out with Wendy's, in with McDonald's

If you haven't noticed, Wendy's has been cutting costs lately. Among those cuts was the closing the original Wendy's downtown and it has been announced that they will not be a sponsor of Ohio State athletics. The hometown company (based out of Dublin) had ads in Ohio Stadium for 20+ years and ads in St. John and now Schottenstein Arena. Those ads will replaced by the golden arches of McDonald's. With the new sponsorship, Ohio State is allowing central Ohio McDonald's to sell spring football game tickets for $5 ($1 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.) If you have not marked your calendars yet, the game is set for Saturday, April 21 at 1:00 PM.
