Take that Michigan!

Pryor is a Buckeye

Ok, so it has been a LONG time since I have updated the blog, due to law school. I really feel bad for my lack of posts regarding the basketball team. I blame the time constraints of school, and the lack of basketball games available to me on TV (always fun to take a jab at the Big Ten Network.) Although I have not posted any info about recruiting, as I usually don't get took excited about players until they are a 1-2 years in the system. I have followed the Terrelle Pryor story closely, and even though it was not posted on my blog, my friends can attest that I was confident Pryor would attend OSU, even after he did not sign on the first day. People forget that he is a basketball player as well, and his team was on the way to a state championship, so it is perfectly understandable that he needed to wait to make a decision. I am putting up a post today to taunt Michigan fans (if they even read my blog.) Michigan and Coach Rodriguez were pushing hard for Pryor, but they failed. I want Michigan fans to know that this will not be last failure by Coach "Rod." I can't guarantee the success Tressel had against Carr will be seen in the Tressel v. Rodriguez era, but I believe we will have a winning record against "Rod." When looking at the rivalry I always go back to the line Tressel said to the fans, including me, at the OSU/Michigan basketball game in 2001 when he was introduced as the coach, "I can assure you that you will be proud of your young people in the classroom, in the community and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan." Tressel hasn't been perfect against Michigan, but close at 6-1, and for those keeping track at home, it has been 1579 days since Michigan beat Ohio State in football.
