OSU leads the series 36-12-2 and leads 24-5-2 in Columbus. The teams met last year in West Lafayette and OSU won 23-7. The last game in Columbus, OSU won in overtime in 2003, 16-13. In the night game last year against Purdue, OSU limited Purdue to 4 rushing yards and kept QB Painter in check, allowing most of the passing yards and the only touchdown in the fourth quarter.
