What to Expect

The Navy triple option will be a bit distracting for OSU, but the defense should be able to contain the run. The Navy team will still get 150-200 yards on the ground. Don't look for Navy to attack the potentially vulnerable OSU secondary with long passes. Navy players are a bit undersized, and this could present problems in particular on the O-line and D-line. Also, the Navy offense is very inexperienced. Last season Navy allowed teams to score points, and this year's crew is younger, so OSU could top 40 points. Look for OSU to come away with the relatively easy win, and hopefully no major injuries. Navy will make it interesting, but they don't have the size or experience to pull it off. Unfortunately this game will be a bit of a teaser, as we will not really get a good idea of the potential of this team until the USC game.
