What to Expect
Toledo has a very experienced QB in Opelt, who is not afraid to throw. He has some big numbers, but those numbers also include a high number of interceptions. The Rocket offense has averaged 558 yards/game with 187 rushing yards/game and 371 passing yards/game. However, the defense has not been of much help, by allowing teams to move the ball and score often. In the first two games, opponents have averaged 45 points/game, 205 rushing yards/game, and 288 passing yards/game. Look for Pryor to have success passing the ball against this weak defense. Perhaps he will finally let loose and have a breakout game. It is early in the season, but he has not met the high expectations set for him over the summer. Perhaps people are expecting too much from him at this point in the season. I still think he needs to use his legs more and create some plays. Posey, Herron, and Saine should have big games.
