The Series

OSU leads this short series 2-0, with a 49-0 win in 1998 and a 38-0 win in 2009. The 2009 game was in Cleveland Browns Stadium, with Toledo as the home team. In that game, Terrelle Pryor threw for a then career high of 262 yards and ran for 110 yards. In front of a crowd mostly composed of scarlet and gray, OSU scored two first quarter touchdowns. In the second quarter Boom Herron ran for a touchdown late in the second quarter. Pettrey had a 47-yard FG right before halftime. The Buckeyes scored two more touchdowns, one in the third and one in the fourth. The OSU defense limited the Rockets to 181 yards, despite the fact that Toledo led the nation with 437 offense yards per game.
