Scouting the Boilermakers

This Season
Purdue has a record of 4-1 at home, while going 0-4 on the road. The wins were over Middle Tennessee (27-24), SE Missouri (59-0), Minnesota (45-17), and Illinois (21-14). The losses were Rice (24-22), Notre Dame (38-10), Penn State (23-18), Michigan(36-14), and Wisconsin (62-17). The Wisconsin game last week was the highest point total allowed by a Purdue team in the entire history of the program. There is pressure on Coach Danny Hope to improve the results of the team. In his first two years he did not guide the team to a bowl game, and Purdue needs two wins in the remaining three games to become bowl eligible this season. Purdue averages 25 points/game while allowing 26 points/game. The offense averages 174 rushing yards and 192 passing yards. The Purdue defense allows 191 rushing yards/game and 209 passing yards.

Offense
At QB is Caleb TerBush who has completed 61% for 1386 yards, ten touchdowns, and six interceptions. At running back are Ralph Bolden with 398 yards and Akeem Shavers with 351 yards. Leading the receivers are Antavian Edison with 367 yards and Justin Siller with 342 yards.

Defense
The most experienced starter on an O-Line with constant turnover is Kawann Short. Leading the team in tackles is linebacker Dwayne Beckford with 70 tackles. Leading the team in interceptions is cornerback Ricardo Allen with three.
