What to Expect

UAB is in its 22nd season as a football team, while Ohio State is playing its 123rd season. UAB has been a division I-A team since 1996 and has won less than 50% of its games. This should not be a close game, and assuming Ohio State can control the turnovers and penalties, it should have 250 rushing yards and at least 250 passing yards. The young UAB defense will struggle, especially in the second half. UAB has the ability to pass the ball, but the offense was stifled at South Carolina. Look for the OSU defense to limit UAB to 260 passing yards and 75 rushing yards. OSU will continue to put pressure on the QB and should come away with at least five sacks. Ohio State will win 52-13.
