Mel is reeling after opening day misery...perhaps he could use a 'snout-bucket' strategy session with Funtik to regain his prognostication prowess!

Ohio State defeats San Diego St.

Miami defeats Florida

Illinois defeats Cincinnati

Michigan defeats Notre Dame - though clearly anybody watching this game is losing as well...

South Carolina defeats Georgia - Dogs starting 0-2!

Maine defeats Massachusetts - going with the alphabetical leader here...a good a basis as any

OLD BAG OF MAN HATES SWEATING AT FOOTBALL GAMES, THE BAG STICKS TO PLACES HE DIDN'T KNOW HE HAD.

1) OSU. I EXPECT A COMPLETE GAME THIS WEEK AND HOPEFULLY I WON'T SWEAT AS BAD AT THIS GAME.

2) FLORIDA. HATE BOTH OF THEM.

3) CINCY. THEY TOOK CARE OF PURDUE (BAD) AND ILLINOIS STRUGGLED (BAD).

4) MICHIGAN. HATE BOTH OF THEM.

5) S. CAROLINA. QUICK FALL FOR GEORGIA.

6) UMASS. FIGHTING MARCUS CAMBY'S.

1. Ohio State - With Kenny Guiton's dazzling performance and 99.9 QB rating, we may have a new Heisman contender under center...
2. Florida - What ever happened with that Miami booster who was buying prostitutes for players?
3. Illinois - I don't know, Illinois at home?
4. Michigan - I don't think Michigan is 'B1G-title' good, but they are at least 'beat-Notre-Dame-at home' good.
5. Georgia - Georgia racked up a ton of yards in a close loss to Clemson last week. Look for them to exact their revenge on the Palmetto State Saturday.
6. Maine - Black bears versus Minutemen? Please.

Wow. First week in the books and my record is 3-3. Looks like it's going to be a rough season for this panelist.

1. OSU -
2. Florida
3. Cincinnati
4. Notre Dame
5. Georgia - They can't start the season 0-2

1. Ohio State over San Diego St. - my prediction: up by 32 at the half (yes, that is 4 TD’s with 2 PT conversions) so I can leave early and resume inebriation. for once, it will be nice to attend a football game that is not 95+ degrees (hopefully) and will be under the lights (not counting B-deck tickets to USC game where we could only see ½ of the field)

2. Florida over Miami (FL) - i hope it doesn’t come down to an OT pass interference call to extend/settle this one

3. Cincinnati over Illinois - won’t even have to smoke the reefer to get some munchie time!

4. Michigan over Notre Dame - even if fat Brady Hoke can convince himself that ND is a big rival (even though they have stunk in the past 10+ years of this so-called rivalry), they should be able to pull the night home crowd factor into this game.

5. South Carolina over Georgia - hard game to pick… going with the cocks...

6. Maine over Massachusetts - if a bear shits in the woods with nobody around, does it stink?

Damn, this week snuck up on me fast...God love four-day weeks!

Ohio State 35-14 - No Muema SDSU wins this one...

Miami (FL). - The U beats the team with no O. 24 points at home vs a MAC team???

Cincinnati - Bearcats in sole possession of first in Big Ten with a 2-0 record after this game

Michigan - Notre Dame has been living a charmed life (other than Te'o's relationships...), which expires Saturday.

Georgia - Another Southern team with no offensive firepower (where's all the Southern speed??) drops one on the road (see Florida, above...)

And the oddball game this week is:
Massachusetts - 7 FCS over FBS upsets is the Maine reason UMass sneaks this one out...

2. Florida-Gators look like Dinosaurs which are cool
3. Cincinnati-They are still in the playoff hunt
4. Michigan-I have been told that Michigan should win all games except against Ohio State
5. South Carolina-Funny Mascot
And the oddball game this week is:
6. Massachusetts

A solid first week of the 2013 Guest Panel season for the big bad Ukranian hog. Hoping to keep the momentum up with another strong week, although there are a lot games this week that could go either way. Tough games this week Mr. Moderator, kudos to you.

On a totally unrelated note, Mr. & Mrs. Hog (although I have a VERY strong feeling that she would NOT appreciate being called by such a name) are celebrating their one year wedding anniversary this weekend. The Hair was in attendance (and "The Cock" wishes he was there, but apparently he had some "cock dropping" that same time that took priority), so he can testify that the aforementioned wedding did actually take place and I am not lying through my snout.

Onto this week's picks...

Ohio State def. San Diego State: Well, it's not like the Buckeyes played poorly last weekend vs. the mighty Bulls, but they certainly didn't play up to their expectations, and it cost them in the polls. Presuming the status quo, Ohio State could potentially go undefeated for the second straight season and still not play for the national title.

Florida def. Miami (FL): The Battle of Florida rivalry resumes. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have the same sizzle and pizazz to it that it used to in the mid-late 90s. Very little confidence in this pick, could easily see it going the other way. A close game though, regardless.

Cincinnati def. Illinois: One team is playing in a new conference that should be properly titled "Dead Man Walking Conference"; the other team is pretty much a dead man walking in its own conference. Go with the team in the Dead Man Walking Conference. Mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week for Week #2 (1-0 record in such games this season).

Michigan def. Notre Dame: Yes, yes, yes...I'll be the Guest Panelist to ask the question: is there any way possible that both teams can lose? Yes...but...well, I don't think any of the Guest Panelists want to spend any time in jail. Well, except for maybe Buckeye Cock.

Georgia def. South Carolina: Although I love me some Jadeveon Clowney (after that hit vs. Michigan in the Outback Bowl last season, who doesn't?!?!), but I have a real hard time believing that Georgia loses its first two games of the season versus two of its biggest rivals to begin the season, especially at home.
And the oddball game this week is:

Massachusetts def. Maine: UMass is actually a member of the MAC...who knew?!?! So I guess the Minutemen will be participating in some MACtion this season?!?!
