Guest Panel-Week 5 Games and Standings

Here are the games for the Guest Panel to consider this week. Below are the standings as well. Cliff Diving Raoul is holding at first place but his lead decreased by one game. SPAM and Philly Cheese went 6-0 and joined Corso and Funtik at second place. The panelists had good records this week, but the Utah-BYU did post some problems for the panel.

So after a couple weeks of strategically making my picks I'm obviously terrible at this. Its time to resort to random guesses. Why not? I can't do any worse!

1. OSU - pumped for Big Ten season!
2. Arkansas
3. Georgia
4. Alabama
5. Oklahoma
6. Temple

MUCH BETTER LAST WEEK. PROBABLY BECAUSE MOST OF THE GAMES WERE TERRIBLE.

1) OSU. TOO BAD BIELEMA ISN'T THERE ANYMORE BECAUSE I ENJOYED WATCHING THE STUPID LOOK ON HIS FACE WHEN WE BEAT THEM.

2) TEXAS A&M. MAYBE I CAN WATCH THIS GAME TO GET MY BIELEMA STUPID FACE LOOK FIX.

3) GEORGIA. NOT SOLD ON LSU, GOING WITH THE HOME TEAM.

4) BAMA. THEY WON'T LOSE THIS ONE BUT THEY WILL LOSE AT SOME POINT.

5) OKLAHOMA. NOTRE DAME = BAD.

6) IDAHO. NO YOU'S A HO.

Let's see if Mel carries his 5-1 momentum into this week...if only the rest of the panel could slack off a bit...

Wisconsin loses to Ohio State - Bucky stops here...but should be the first real test of the season. The question is will KG get shuffled to the bench - thanks for your fifty-odd touchdowns - now go sit on ice.

Texas A&M beats Arkansas - so much focus on the Aggies this year...whoda-thunk the Heisman carried so much weight?

LSU beats Georgia - Mel has been cold on the Dogs all year. Burned last week...but not this time.

Ole Miss loses to Alabama - Bama didn't look terribly impressive in last week's game...but something tells this pundit Coach will have them 'motivated' this week.

Oklahoma beats Notre Dame - MKH would rather tip ND incorrectly every time than lend them ANY confidence.

Temple loses to Idaho

A solid Week #4 for Funtik, although he now shares 2nd place with two foods and a senile mascot head wearing old man. Time to create some separation in Week #5, where the hogs are distinguished from the piglets.

In other news, Funtik has been told directly by Buckeye Cock that he will no longer be participating in the Guest Panel, because, "the website doesn't show up well on my phone, and I never use a computer anymore." I'm not sure what's more lame; Buckeye Cock's explanation of his lack of participation, or me for believing his bulls**t. So, if you don't see any more picks from the "Cock," now you know why.

Ohio State def. Wisconsin: So who's actually going to be starting this game at QB for Ohio State? For all those who are saying "Braxton Who?," just remember that Guiton put up these results against the Murderer's Row of San Diego State, California, and Florida A&M. Not exactly Miami of 2001 or Texas of 2005. Presuming that Miller goes to the NFL after this season, the QB position is in good hands though.

Texas A&M def. Arkansas: Funtik's favorite college football team suffers a defeat at the hands of Johnny "Dollar Dollar Bills Y'All" Manziel.

LSU def. Georgia: Obviously the most difficult game of the week to pick; other than Alabama, the SEC will be a continuous mess all season long, each team beating up the others. Les "Grass Chompin'" Miles will come up with some trick to beat the Bulldogs in a very close game; I am thinking a Statue of Liberty on a fake field goal or something on the final play of the game.

Alabama def. Ole Miss: The hog thinks that Alabama loses a regular season game at some point in 2013; just not this game. Mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #5 (3-1 record in such games this season).

Oklahoma def. Notre Dame: Another very difficult game to pick. Notre Dame has home field advantage, but neither team has been particularly impressive this year. Tie-breaker goes to the team that's still undefeated.

Idaho def. Temple: I am guessing there won't be a big contingent of Temple fans at this game.

Ohio State - Props STILL three years later to Wisky for their "Teach me how to Bucky" video. They will be able to run a bit on OSU, but will still get their Buckies kicked, 35-20.

Texas A&M, beats what may be the worst team in the SEC.

Georgia - Give me the home team that has actually played someone good (twice) this season...

Alabama - Ole Miss getting too much good pub to be taken lightly by Tide. Saban, McCarron, and the Five Stars are ready.

Notre Dame - ND is not that good. Yet they'll keep on winning...

Temple - Great job to the Mod for unearthing this gem!
