Ohio State leads this series 59-14-1 and has a record of 26-6-1 in Evanston. Ohio State has a four game winning streak and Northwestern's last victory was in 2004 which broke a 24 game winning streak by Ohio State. These two teams have not met since OSU's last victory in 2008.

Last Time

Ohio State defeated Northwestern 45-10 at Evanston in 2008. Terrelle Pryor had three touchdown passes and Beanie Wells had two rushing touchdowns. In the first touchdown drive Pryor connected with Brian Hartline for a 44-yard pass and Beanie Wells capped off the drive with a two yard rushing touchdown. Beanie Wells scored the second touchdown with a 55-yard run. Northwestern had one touchdown drive in the first quarter, but did not find the endzone for the rest of the game. Ohio State scored an additional ten points in the first half putting the score at 24-7. In the second half Northwestern hit a field goal early in the third quarter. Ohio State had three more touchdowns in the second half, including a pass to Tight end Rory Nicol, a pass to Brian Robiskie, and a rushing touchdown by Herron.
