OSU Last Game

Ohio State shut out Kent State with a final score of 66-0. Ohio State scored 45 points in the first half, which included five touchdown passes, one touchdown run, and one field goal. In the second half J.T. Barrett was limited in his possessions, but he did have one additional touchdown drive. Ohio State scored 21 additional points in the second half. The reserve players played most of the second half. Leading Ohio State in rushes was Curtis Samuel with 15 rushes for 100 yards. It was a record day in the short career of Barrett as he threw for six touchdown passes while completing 23 of 30 passes for 312 yards and one interception. It was the first time since 2006 that an OSU quarterback threw for over 300 yards. The defense limited Kent State to 126 passing yards and 47 rushing yards.
