Archie Griffin-Heisman Winner (1974 and 1975)

Archie Griffin is the only two time Heisman winner in the history of the award. He is the only Buckeye to lead the team in rushing for all four of his seasons. He set the current OSU freshman single game record, rushing for 239 yards against North Carolina in his second game. He still has the NCAA record of 31 consecutive games with 100 yards or more rushing. He was a major reason that his team had an impressive 40-5-1 record over four years, winning four Big Ten titles with no losses to Michigan in all four years (one tie in 1973.) He still has the OSU record with 5,589 career yards, which is 6th highest in NCAA history. He is the only player to ever start in four Rose Bowls.
