The following is an announcement released from Ohio State.
Ohio State Men's Basketball Team Celebration. The Ohio State Department of Athletics will celebrate the 2006-07 Men's Basketball Season on Wednesday, April 11 at 6 p.m. in Value City Arena.
Admission and parking to the event are free and tickets are not required.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.Come support the Buckeyes who claimed both the Big Ten outright regular-season and tournament titles. The team advanced to the ninth NCAA Final Four in program history and finished as the national runners-up.
The Celebration includes:
*Thad Matta, the 2007 Big Ten Coach of the Year
*Members of the team
*Gene Smith, Ohio State Director of Athletics
*Michael Coleman, Mayor of Columbus
*Ohio State band and cheerleaders
*Commemorative autographed poster for the first 5,000 fans
*Opportunity to take photos with the Big Ten regular-season and tournament trophies, as well as the Buckeyes' NCAA South Region and Final Four trophies
