The two teams have met only once, with OSU winning 49-0 in 1998. The Buckeye are 176-48-15 in games against opponents from Ohio, which includes teams in the MAC, going 25-1 with teams from the MAC. OSU has played at least one team from Ohio every season since 1997. The Buckeyes have not lost a game to an Ohio team since the 1921 loss to Oberlin.
