Here are the games for the Guest Panel to consider this week. Congrats to Pat Head for going 3-2 and holding first place. The only other people with records above .500 last week were Old Bag and Mel Kiper, who both moved up in the standings. Tressel also moved up a spot.

Hudy Delights picks for the week
1. OSU vs. Wisconsin ----------- OSU
2. Illinois vs. Michigan St.-----------MSU
3. Arkansas vs. Auburn ------ArKansas
4. South Carolina vs. Kentucky ---------So. Carolina
5. Iowa vs. Michigan -------Iowa
And the oddball game this week is:
6. Florida Int. vs. Northern Texas --------No Texas
1. Ohio State over Wisconsin - Is OSU the #1 team in the country? It's still early to tell, but this game may help.
2. Michigan State over Illinois - If John L Smith was still at the helm, this game would be just the chance for the Spartans to go and wreck a solid start. Dantonio will get them past the Illini, though.
3. Arkansas over Auburn - Arkansas showed me something against Alabama. This will be a tough test on the road, but the Hogs will pull it out.
4. Kentucky over South Carolina - This one could be a letdown game for the Gamecocks.
5. Iowa over Michigan - I said it last week, and it's still true today: Michigan is not that good. There could be several more losses on the schedule. (Denard Robinson is exciting, though.)
6. North Texas over Florida International - What does Florida International even mean?
Big Dog Picks:
1. OSU vs. Wisconsin
Ohio State University
2. Illinois vs. Michigan St.
Michigan State
3. Arkansas vs. Auburn
Auburn
4. South Carolina vs. Kentucky
South Carolina
5. Iowa vs. Michigan

And the oddball game this week is:
6. Florida Int. vs. Northern Texas
Northern Texas
Buckeye Cock would like to give a big shout out to his fellow Cocks of South Carolina for all of their hard work this past weekend. Great job, go cocks! This has got me thinking about starting up an organization. I think I'm going to call it the Cock Crew. Maybe the Cock Club? Who wants to join? Harry Chance???
1. OSU - New #1 Ohio State heads into dangerous territory for what people are calling their first true test. How many special teams touchdowns will be scored in this game? Over or under 3?
2. Michigan State - Talk about a dark horse. Co-Big 10 champs?
3. Arkansas - I'm going to stick with my original theory that Auburn is severely overrated even if they are at home.
4. South Carolina - Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks, Cocks. EVERYBODY!
5. Iowa - Michigan State figured them out fairly easily. Iowa will too.
6. North Texas - And the random coin flip goes to . . .
Old Bag of Man states:
1) Here's to no 2004 repeats. OSU wins.
2) We need Michigan St. to lose but it won't be this week.
3) Not drinking the Auburn kool-aid. Arkansas wins.
4) Is John Calipari recruiting for the football team yet? Not yet? Didn't think so. South Carolina wins.
5) Michigan's bad defense gets abused again. Iowa wins.
6) Florida Intl wins.
Philly Cheese
OSU
Michigan St.
Auburn
South Carolina
Iowa
Florida Int.
Batman:
1. OSU
2. MSU
3. Aub
4. SC
5. Iowa
6. FI
I hate Michigan State, they have cost me first place so far in this young season.
Spamsandwichsan says...
1. W: OSU - this year, camp randal stadium at night makes happy valley look like
2. W: Michigan St. - Zook gets fired in the 2nd quarter and the Illini make a comeback, but are thwarted by a last minute blocked
3. W: Auburn - Tigers are goin’ hoggin tonight!!
4. W: South Carolina - i still hate gamecocks, but i have to pick this one for a friend... i lost a bet to her last week (aka Alabama game), so i have to pick her school to redeem myself... let’s hope they are not high on their upset!
5. W: Iowa - i am never picking that team up north ever again! baahh!
6. W: Northern Texas
Carl's Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks of the Century (of the Week #7):
Okay, so everyone is entitled to a mulligan every once in a while. For the record, Carl HATES Les Miles and his rabbit out of a hat trickery almost as much as he hates his 3 ex-wives (but he doesn't hate either of those things quite as much as the oddball game...current oddball game record as of last week for this season: 1-5).
OSU def. Wisconsin: Big surprise, now that the Bucks are ranked #1, all the haters are coming out of the woodwork. News flash: the Big Ten has 4 teams ranked in the top 25, and two of the top Heisman Trophy candidates as well.
Michigan St. def. Illinois: Okay, so I'm finally starting to believe a bit in Dantonio's boys. Perhaps they won't go 3-5 in the Big Ten this season, especially since they don't play da Bucks. Here's to hoping that Iowa or Purdue or somebody beats them, cause the Fightin' Illini sure as h*ll ain't gonna do it. Oh yea, I almost forgot...just for old Guest Panel time's sake: SPARTANS! PREPARE FOR GLORY!!!!
Arkansas def. Auburn: Most difficult game of the week to pick. The oddmakers give Auburn a 4 point advantage, but, take away the automatic 3 points for home field advantage, it's basically an even game. I'll go with the 'Backs, not because I truly hate Jerry Jones with every ounce of my being, but because the Tigers have beaten way more than their fair share of opponents by only 3 points.
South Carolina def. Kentucky: So I guess we have to presume that the Gamecocks are for real now, right? What say you, Buckeye Cock? You're the expert on all things cock, so, you would obviously have something to say on the subject.
Iowa def. Michigan: Michigan, you got your one and only chance with Carl last week, and you blew it. This week, I move onto Iowa (a team which has failed Carl before), but if the Hawkeyes have learned anything from their Arizona experience, it's not to fail Carl twice in one season!!!
Florida Int. def. Northern Texas: Joey, if I'm gonna lose this game, at least get the name of both teams playing right!!!
Pat Head's Picks to be selected by a guest picker, her cousin Penn Head.
1. OSU
I was left with no choice.
2. Mich St
Sparty is fired up, playing for their coach.
3. Auburn
Cam Newton's a better version of Pryor, yeah I said it.
4. S.Carolina
Watch out here, Kentucky is better than people think.
5. Iowa
Hard to win in the cornfields, especially when you have UM's D.
6. Fla Inter.
7th best team in the state. Hands down.
OSU clogs up Wisconsin – On the bucket list is a trip to Camp Randall for a night OSU v. Wisconsin game.
Michigan State pummels Illinois – Michigan State isn’t that good. Neither is Illinois. Penn State is atrocious and so therefore transitively Sparty wins this close one.
Auburn slices up Arkansas – If the SEC is looking for a contender this season they’ll rally behind the Tigers. I don’t think they’re as good as Bama but I think they match up well with the other conference powerhouses.
South Carolina defeats Kentucky – Kentucky is good at basketball…South Carolina is good at football. Let those who are good at what they do, do what they’re good at.
Iowa obliterates Michigan – If Michigan aspires to be good at all they’ll have to improve on defense. I think they’re lucky to not have had a Nevada, Houston or SMU on the schedule this season.
Florida Intl kills Northern Texas – Here’s to being 5-1 this week.
Tressel's Devil

4. Kentucky
5. Michigan
