Last year the #8 Buckeyes defeated the #24 Badgers in Columbus, 31-13. The Buckeyes only had 184 yards of offense, but the defense and special teams had 21 points. The two touchdowns on defense came off interceptions by Kurt Coleman and Jermale Hines. Ray Small had a 96-yard kickoff return. Wisconsin's offense moved the ball, getting 250 yards in the air and 118 yards on the ground, but the OSU defense proved to be the difference in this game. Pryor threw one interception, which put Wisconsin in favorable field position. On fourth down during that drive, Wisconsin ran the ball into the endzone on a fake field goal. OSU's lone offensive touchdown was a 32-yard pass to Posey at the end of the first half.
