Colorado
The running game for Colorado is a bit of an after thought, with no rushing touchdowns by the RB and only 90 yards/game for the entire team, including only 17 against Hawaii. Although I do recall the great commentator Keith Jackson noting that Hawaii is a dangerous place to play because the team gets distracted by the weather and beaches. RB Rodney Stewart should not be overlooked as he is quick and is a decent receiver. QB Hansen has not thrown many interceptions, but he has felt pressure with 9 sacks. John Simon, Big Hank, and Co. are salivating at the holes this Buffalo O-Line leaves open. OSU needs to shut down the running game and force Hansen to win with his arm. I believe Colorado can be limited to under 100 yards on the ground. Colorado will have a bit more success in the air and may get 175 yards passing.
Ohio State
The Era of Braxton Miller is about to start, and in an odd coincidence it was the fourth game when Terrelle Pryor started as a freshman. Joe Bauserman will still play, but Miller should get the majority of the snaps as long as Miller has some success moving the ball. You should expect turnovers with this young QB and young receivers, but the defense must limit the damage. OSU should get 200 on the ground and 200 in the air. I expect Jordan Hall to continue to rip off first downs. You can expect Miller to use his feet by design and with broken plays. It is time for a young receiver to step up, I'm looking at you Verlon Reed. As much as I love the RB and TE passes, someone needs to step up at WR position while the team waits for Posey and Philly Brown. OSU will win the game with a low score of 24-17. I imagine OSU will have a 10+ point lead most of the game, but Colorado will have a late touchdown. Colorado has a young kicker, but he appears to be a bit more consistent than OSU's Basil, so this game should not go to OT.
