Ohio State won the game last year in Columbus, 38-14. Penn State led at halftime 14-3, but Ohio State made some adjustments and ripped off 35 points in the second half, while Penn State didn't score for the rest of the game. One of the key plays was Devon Torrence tipping and pulling in an interception, then running it 34 yards for the touchdown which put Ohio State ahead of PSU. It wasn't the only interception returned for a touchdown, as Travis Howard ran one back for 30 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Dane Sanzebacher pulled in a touchdown pass intended for Devier Posey, which bounced off a defender. It was one of the three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Boom Herron had a career high of 190 rushing yards for the day.
