Things to Watch

Roster Update
Defensive lineman "Big Hank" Hankins missed time against Purdue after suffering what appeared to be a lower left leg injury. Linebacker Andrew Sweat had a concussion before halftime and he did not return for the second half. Hankins is expected to play, but Sweat is likely out this week. Offensive lineman J.B. Shugarts, who missed the Purdue game, has practiced this week and will likely play against Penn State. Philly Brown will probably play, after missing the Purdue game. Devier Posey is playing after missing a total of ten games for two separate NCAA violations. His addition should be a big help to the struggling passing game.

OSU in Indy?
Ok, so I hope you didn't book a trip yet to see OSU in Indy in December. If Ohio State had won on Saturday, and won the remaining two games against Penn State and Michigan, it would be in the Big Ten Championship game. Penn State's loss Saturday was understandable based on the circumstances at Penn State, and that loss would have put Ohio State in the driver's seat. Unfortunately Ohio State was unable to take advantage of the loss, and now they must hope that Penn State loses its remaining games against Ohio State and Wisconsin, which is quite possible. Additionally Ohio State must hope that Wisconsin loses at Illinois this weekend, which is possible but not likely. A trip to the Big Ten Championship for Ohio State would be great considering how the season has gone, but it would show that Big Ten Leaders division was incredibly week this year.
