The offensive strategy for Ohio State should be simple this week, run the ball. Wisconsin ran all over Purdue, racking up 467 rushing yards last week. In the week prior, Michigan had 304 rushing yards. On average teams run for 199 yards against Purdue. Purdue was able to contain Marshall for 95 rushing yards, but allowed them to pass for 439 yards. Notre Dame had similar success with only 52 rushing yards, but 324 passing yards. Ohio State can run and should do so often with big gains against the Boilermakers. Purdue is still looking for an identity on offense with three quarterbacks available. Look for a large number of short passes, with many receivers catching the ball for Purdue. Purdue could get 225 passing yards, but will only run for 100 yards. Ohio State will have 200 passing yards and 350 rushing yards. Ohio State will win 52-24.
