Scouting the Boilermakers

Purdue is 1-6 (0-3 Big Ten) with a victory over Indiana State and losses to Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Nebraska, and Michigan State. The Boilermakers average 76 rushing yards, 202 passing yards, and 13 points/game. The Purdue defense allows 192 rushing yards, 206 passing yards, and 34 points/game.

Offense
Rob Henry started the season at quarterback but he is now a defensive back. True freshman Danny Etling has token over the quarterback position after starting the October 12 Nebraska game. Another star true freshman is DeAngelo Yancey who has had two 100+ receiving games. Akeem Hunt leads the team with 293 rushing yards and he also has 239 receiving yards and 423 kick-off return yards. Cody Webster averages 43.9 yards/punt.

Defense
Cornerback Ricardo Allen has two interceptions this season for 27 yards. Allen also has 4 tackles for loss. Safety Taylor Richards leads the team with 38 tackles.
