Byrd Stadium

This will be the first time Ohio State visits Byrd Stadium, the on-campus football facility in College Park, MD. The stadium has a capacity of 54,000 and the game has been sold out. The stadium, built in 1923, is named after Dr. Harry C. Byrd who helped in the efforts to build the stadium. Byrd is a former football coach and president of the University.

Ohio State continues to be ranked first in the nation in average home game attendance, with an average of 106,761, which is ahead of Texas A&M, Michigan, LSU, and Alabama. The attendance at the Cincinnati game was an Ohio State record crowd of 108,362.
