John L. Smith Out After Season

It was announced today that coach John L. Smith will be let go at the end of this season. He is in his fourth year at Michigan State, with a 22-23 record, with three games and possibly a bowl game left this season. The university will buy-out the remaining two years in his contract for $1.5 million each.
