As a backup to Pittman last year and in the YSU game as a starter, Beanie Wells has never run for over 100 yards. The closest he came was 99 yards last year in the Northwestern game. Last week against Akron, he had 143 yards. In one drive in the fourth quarter he had 71 yards alone, with a long run of 40 yards.
