Guest Panel Introduction-Yellow #5

Name: Yellow #5

Panelist bio: I’m a girl in the third grade at John Wilkes Booth Elementary School. I like to sing songs in my head because it drowns out the laughter and verbal mockery of the other children in my class. This school picture has forever ruined my elementary school social status. It turns out that school pictures fell on the day BEFORE Halloween costume day. My mom got the days mixed up so I was the only kid in school wearing a costume; a f*@&ing giant yellow crayon costume on f&@#ing picture day! The nicknames and insults were horrible. K-K-Crayola - Yellow Fever – Old Yeller - “Hey Yellow! Where’s Magenta!?” Dustin called out when walking to recess - ”I’m not supposed to eat snow if you’re in it!” Carl said - ”Slut” said Stephanie as I walked out of the bathroom. During art class that day, Billy came up to me with a blank sheet of paper, smashed it down on my crayon-tip-hat, and started rubbing it vigorously. He was yelling, “Crayon noogy! Crayon noogy!” On the way back to his seat he said I should probably find the box I rode in on so I could sharpen my head with the built-in sharpener. I’m pretty sure that by winning Joe’s panel all the kids will look up to me and not pick on me anymore.
