Jim Tressel
In his eighth season at OSU, he has a record of 80-17. In his 23rd year of his coaching career, including time at YSU, he is 215-74-2. He has guided OSU to one national championship.











Joe Paterno
In his 43rd season as a head coach, all at Penn State, he is 380-125-3 (75.1%.) He currently leads the all-time victories among major college coaches. Paterno is also the longest serving head coach at one school in major football history. He has led the school to two national championships in 1982 and 1986. He was an assistant at Penn State for 16 years prior to his time as head coach. He is already in the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
