The Series
The series dates back to 1902. Between 1914 and 2002 the two teams met every year. Ohio State leads the series 60-30-4 and 32-12 in Champaign. Last year Illinois got the best of Ohio State beating them 28-21 in Columbus temporarily delaying the Buckeyes’ championship hopes. The Buckeyes were victorious in their last trip to Champaign in 2006 winning 17-10.
