The Series

This will be the first game between New Mexico State and Ohio State in football. The teams have met in gymnastics, softball, men's tennis, and women's volleyball. OSU is 3-0 against current members of the Western Athletic Conference, with two wins over Fresno State and one win over San Jose State. NM State is 0-2 against the Big Ten with a loss at Wisconsin in 1962, 69-13, and a loss at Iowa in 1995, 59-21.
