What to Expect
Saine is back for OSU, Boom is still out, OL Boren will miss the game with an unspecified foot injury, and OL Adams is having knee surgery but may return later this season. OSU is a 39-44 point favorite in this game, depending on your choice of oddsmaker. NM State is last in the nation in offense and next to last in scoring offense. The key to the game this weekend for OSU is not just winning, but winning and getting more confidence on offense. OSU needs some confidence going into November with Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan remaining on the schedule. I don't expect OSU to score in the high 40's, so it may be difficult to cover the spread. I see OSU scoring in the low 40's and giving up 3-7 points. I expect OSU to get 200 on the ground and 200 in the air. NM State might get 100 on the ground and 100 in the air.
