Michigan So Far this Season

Michigan came out the gate and won the first four games against Western Michigan, Notre Dame, Eastern Michigan, and Indiana. Michigan was briefly in the rankings until the loss against Michigan State and then the team lost to Iowa. The last win so far this season was against Delaware State in the middle of October. In the Delaware State game, the offense had a school record 727 yards of offense with 461 rushing yards. Since then, Michigan has lost to Penn State, Illinois, Purdue, and Wisconsin. Michigan leads the Big Ten and is 27th nationally in scoring offense with 31.3 points/game. The team is second in the conference and 21st nationally in rushing with 195 yards/game. However the defense has struggled allowing 28.1 points/game this season and 35 points/game in the conference. The defense has allowed teams to average 400 yards/game, with 164 on the ground and 235 in the air.
