Iowa last beat OSU 33-7 in 2004 to snap an eight game winning streak by OSU. OSU won the last game between the two teams, 38-17 in 2006 in Iowa. In that night game, senior Troy Smith threw four touchdowns in the fifth game of his Heisman season. The OSU defense forced four turnovers from the previously undefeated Hawkeyes. Iowa turned over the ball in its last three possessions of the game.
