1. OSU - shouldnt even be close, but I have a feeling tressel will find a way to keep it within 10 points...maybe it will be by running the ball up the middle on 3rd and 15. Don't even get me started...
2. Michigan - their QB might actually be the real deal.
3. LSU
4. Miami
5. Fl Atlantic

4. Florida St. vs. Miami - Miami

5. Florida Atlantic vs. Louisiana Monroe - Florida Atlantic.

Old Bag Proclaims:

1) Even though Indiana is playing better on offense, I think OSU has this one. OSU wins.

2) Finally a somewhat decent defense for Mr. Robinson. Michigan State keeps it going with another win.

3) The SEC is down and no one is talking about it at ESPN. Funny. LSU wins.

4) This use to be a pretty good game. Miami wins.

5) Florida Atlantic wins.

Buckeye Cock will be celebrating his birthday this month. Hurray!! This Cock will be one year older so don't forget to tell him happy birthday if you see him. I hear Harry Chance might make a surprise visit.

On to the picks:

OSU - Last week was not a good game for the Buckeye crew. If we didn't beat Oregon last year in the Rose Bowl, I would have them ahead of us.

Michigan - Yes, I did pick Michigan ST last week against Wisc, but this is a different story this week. The do it for the coach mentality is over and the Big House is BIG.

Florida - I really can't tell which team is worse. LSU should have lost last week and Les Miles should be fired because his team sucks. Gators at home, even though they suck too.

Miami - I'm really starting to like this Miami team. I think they could run the table all the way the the ACC Championship. If you were at the game, you will recognize C-A-N-E-S CANES!!!

LA-Monroe - And the random coin flip goes to . . .

1. Ohio State over Indiana - How good is Indiana? I'm not really sure, but not good enough to win in the 'Shoe.
2. Michigan State over Michigan - As the opponents get bigger and more physical, Denard Robinson's offensive contribution will plummet--either by injury or to prevent injury. <300 yards total offense this week.
3. Florida over LSU - Florida was humbled last week. LSU was too, but they slinked off with a win. Gators rebound at home.
4. Miami over Florida State - Miami is not winning because of Jacory Harris, but they are apparently a decent team.
5. Florida Atlantic over Louisiana-Monroe - I see you're on a Florida kick this week, Joe.

Carl's Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks of the Century (of the Week #6):

So, Carl comes back down to Earth in Week #5. You can always tell it's going to be a bad week if Carl loses the oddball game, and, true to form, UB withstood a furious rally and a last second FG miss by BGSU to emerge victorious and give Carl a rather average 5-2 record last week, losing yet ANOTHER game in the standings to Head and Cock.

And Mr. Moderator, 5 games this week after 7 games last week? I'm starting to lose some confidence in your ability to count correctly...'Head, are you SURE you want to be marrying this guy?!?!

Onto this week's picks, I suppose...

OSU def. Indiana: Indiana, I recommend you stick with basketball. Oh wait, you're not so good at that anymore either...what the h*ll is there good about/in/around Indiana?!?!

Michigan def. Michigan State: Solely picking Muck Fichigan based on home field advantage; it's pretty much even in all other aspects, although the oddmakers see UM as a 2 point favorite (taking away the automatic 3 points for being the home team). By the way, where was RichRetardRod hiding Robinson for the last season or two?!?! Not that I wanted him to be playing, but dang, that kid can run like Carl did back in his high school football days!

Florida def. LSU: Both teams are (relatively) rather horrible this season. But, Miles is an idiot who can't tell time, and Meyer can't do much without a Jesus freak once in a generation QB. I'll go with the Jesus freak lover every day over the village idiot.

Miami def. Florida State: Regardless of the final outcome/winner, the game will be decided by a FG going wide left or wide right. Now that's a Carl Stone Cold Lead Pipe Lock of the Century for ya!!!

Florida Atlantic def. Louisiana Monroe: Here's to being no better than 4-1 for week #6!!! Hair, can I borrow your oddball game engraved coin for this pick? And Mr. Moderator, is it at all possible if the oddball game could count as 1/2 game or something? I mean, these teams are like 1/2 of a real D-1 college football team anyways.

Pat Head hates Les Miles and all SEC officials. Now to the pics:
1. OSU over IU

2. Michigan State over Michigan - I don't like Dick Rod and I don't like schools that don't have a defense.

3. Florida over LSU - see above.

4. Miami over FSU - if Jacory Harris can stay healthy, Miami should win this sloppy game.

5. Louisiana Monroe over Florida Atlantic - Warhawks kill Owls.

OSU over Indiana – This game was decided before it began. Should be a good test of our defense…a shutout would speak volumes for us!

Michigan outguns Michigan State – Prediction: there will be more than 100 points scored in this game. Whoever has the ball last wins.

LSU cat-scratches Florida – Florida is horrible – should have put up a better effort last week against Alabama. If clock management were the decisive factor then it’s a Gator win…otherwise the Tigers will continue on their bumpy ride through the season.

Miami over Florida State – I think the U wins the rest of their games and becomes ACC champions.

Louisiana Monroe over Florida Atlantic – I’ve completely halted all analytical processes in the oddball pickem phase. Will begin selling odd-ball coins for those who want them…any takers?

Better commentary to come next week….big projects bogging this guy down!
