Here are the games for the Guest Panel to consider this week. Below are the standings as well. The leaders remain Mel Kiper and Philly Cheese, although due to a large number of 5-1 records, the lead has decreased. Funtik holds third place all to himself. I doubt most panelists predicted the basketball score, but all panelists correctly predicted West Virginia's win.

Big DOG Pix...
1. Nebraska, I hate this pick, but dang, Nebraska played great this past weekend.
2. Texas Tech, this is my upset of the week.
3. LSU, these darn tygers can play.
4. Georgia, we are team BIG DOG, we have to pick them!
5. Michigan, I hate meechegan, but they will win.
And the oddball game this week is:
6. Auburn, the tigers will stun the hogs.
1. OSU- after going 2 and 4 last week I have zero confidence in any of my picks, but I really hope this one is right.
2. Oklahoma
3. LSU- should be close!
4. South Carolina
5. Michigan- Denard is having an epic choke of a season.
6. Auburn
Ohio State - Miller got his revenge last week; the Buck D gets theirs this Sat night
Oklahoma - angry and rested, Sooners take down this Doege and pony show
Florida - They never win pretty, but they have won nevertheless. Huge statement game for whomever the guy is who replaced Urban
Georgia - 2012 National Champs (insert your disgusting verb here) the Cocks
Michigan - Only good team that loses in Ross-Ade is our beloved Buckeyes. Purdue getting Michigan at the wrong time.
And the oddball game this week is:
Auburn - The stopping offense beats the resistable defense. Chants of S-E-C after this one wraps up? Do you think loser of this game plays Vandy for the right to play this years Big Ten Champion in a bowl games.

This is the way the picks should be every single week. All of them, except, oddly, the oddball game are extremely difficult picks.
I can't see Arkansas winning a game this season, but I can see every other one of my picks losing, including Ohio State.
Let's talk Michigan. I am going with the Stone Cold Lock Bet of the week. Take the Wolves +3 to put a good beating on Purdue. (Disclaimer I am 0-1 predicting such bets and also swore I would never bet again) They have lost to two quality opponents but are still a solid team.
Ohio State at night at home. Can't pick against them. Nebraska might have figured some things out vs. Wisconsin...but that's Wisconsin, a team everyone, including Moderator Neff, expected to waltz.
Games #2,3 and 4 this week were challenging picks.
I'm hoping OK loses 2 in a row. It has hardly ever happened under Stoops, but you can't pick based on the past.
I am going with Florida. LSU has been inconsistent. Florida is surging. Florida is home. LSU has a veteran coach, Florida does not (which worries me).
South Carolina has become a national powerhouse because of one person: Steve Spurrier. He wins big games. He is home, his team prevails.
Thought of the week:
When you understand your condition, you can change your position.
Props of the week:
Mitt Romney. Did a great job in the debate. Doesn't have a chance of winning the election.
Black Widow's picks:
1. Ohio State over Nebraska
2. Oklahoma over Texas Tech
3. LSU over Florida
4. Georgia over South Carolina
5. Michigan over Purdue
6. Auburn over Arkansas
An upward trajectory the last three weeks, Funtik the Hog likey! 3-3, then 4-2, and 5-1 last week (with the only loss being my sacrilegious pick of Michigan State over Ohio State; come on, can you really blame me though?!?!). And Mr. Moderator, for the record, in your brief comments before this week’s game selections (i.e., the standings recap of last week), you wrote that although all of the Guest Panel correctly picked the WVU-Baylor game, you said that no one predicted the basketball game-type score. Mr. Moderator, you stand corrected; Funtik CORRECTLY told the Guest Panel’s degenerate gambler readers to go with the over in this game, whatever it was. Granted, I didn’t think the total was going to be 133, but, regardless, my previous statement is in writing and holds true. Now, with my libel lawsuit against the Guest Panel Moderator sufficiently filed in Franklin County District Court, onto this week’s picks…
Ohio State def. Nebraska: I went against the Buckeyes last week and it cost me a potential tie for first place with The Hair and PC, I won’t be making the same mistake twice. Las Vegas sees this as a pretty even game though, only favoring Ohio State by 3.5 points (3 points given for home field advantage automatically). I still don’t like the use of Miller so much in the running game; the guy is bound to get injured at some point if The Pope keeps running him 20-something times a game. That’s what your RBs are for. I give the slight edge to Ohio State based on the facts that it’s a home game (and Nebraska has struggled on the road in Big ten conference games so far, 1 ½ seasons into its conference membership), the ‘Huskers haven’t really beaten any team of note (and no, I don’t count beating a vastly overrated Wisconsin team at home by 3 points to be a good win), and Ohio State’s run defense vs. Bell last week really impressed me. Another game that comes down to the last five minutes, with the Buckeyes winning 31-27. Look for a defensive or special teams TD this week; I think we’re overdue for one.
Oklahoma def. Texas Tech: This is a REALLY tough game to pick. Oklahoma has looked average at best thus far, and Texas Tech, although having an undefeated record and statistically the best defense in the FBS (while still possessing that video game-esque passing offense), haven’t played any team of note. Not to mention Oklahoma hasn’t won at Texas Tech since the early 2000s or something. Going to go with the Boomer Sooners here because methinks they’re really angry about the Kansas State loss, all of the recent losses at Texas Tech, and Stoops won’t allow them to lose two straight conference games. And Brian Bosworth. Never forget Brian Bosworth. And his haircut.
LSU def. Florida: The over/under on the number of clumps of grass that Les Miles chews during the course of this game is 3. Somewhat by default (because most of the rest of the games this week, they’re a c**pshoot), mark this game down as Funtik the Hog’s “Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage” Pick of the Week for Week #6 (4-1 record thus far this season; should have bet the over on the “Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage” Pick of the Week for last week!!!).
The Buckeye…err Gamecocks def. Georgia: Another really tough game to pick for this week. Kudos to the Moderator for a lot of difficult game selections this week. With Georgia losing its best WR in practice earlier this week, and the game being in Columbia, I like the ‘Cocks in this match-up. The over/under on the number of times the Ol’ Ballcoach tosses his sun visor in disgust to the ground during the course of the game is 2.
Purdue def. Michigan: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again (and yes, I know I’m obviously biased), but “Shoelace” Robinson is the most overrated player in the FBS. He hooked and crooked his way to a BCS bowl victory last season, and has done most of his headline-making damage against inferior opponents/teams that the Wolverines should have beaten anyways (see Ohio State-Michigan 2011 as a prime example). With the game in Purdue and the entire school hyped up for this game, Shoelace makes one too many mistakes and loses a close game, and Big Daddy Hoke is left to go back to the drawing board.
Auburn def. Arkansas: Mr. Moderator with some humor this week in the oddball game…I like it. The comedy of errors at Arkansas never ends – between Petrino’s affair and the chaos that ensued, an underachieving football team, and the debacle that is John L. Smith (and we’re not just talking about his coaching, or lack thereof), it’s just a nuclear bomb waiting to go off in Fayetteville.
