Here are the games for the Guest Panel to consider this week. Below are the standings as well. Cliff Diving Raoul continues to hold a one game lead, but Funtik the Hog is in second place by himself. Old Bag of Man was the only panelist to go 6-0 and he moved from 8th to 6th as a result. The most difficult game for the panel last week was the Georgia victory over LSU.

2. Stanford
3. Michigan state
4. Penn st - too soon for Joe Pa jokes?
5. Florida st
6. Rice -mmmmmmmm
MKH happy with another 5-1 week - but just couldn't keep pace with Funtik!
Ohio State beats Northwestern - can barely remember the last time this was a competitive game?
Washington loses to Stanford - those boys from NoCal will pull it off again!
Michigan State loses to Iowa - going against my gut on this one - but something tells me the Hawkeyes are on the rise.
Penn State beats Indiana - when was the last time somebody tipped Indiana on the blog?
Maryland loses to Florida St. - Seminoles will roll.
Rice vs. Tulsa - Tulsa in a nail-biter
OLD BAG OF MAN LIKES BEING PERFECT, IF ONLY FOR ONE WEEK.
1) OSU. ANOTHER HOME GAME ON THE ROAD.
2) STANFORD. THESE SMART KIDS WILL WIN.
3) IOWA. SPARTY BEING SPARTY.
4) PSU. I HAVE A HARD TIME PICKING INDIANA TO WIN FOOTBALL GAMES.
5) FSU. MARYLAND MAY BE RANKED, ALBEIT 25TH, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE THE TALENT.
6) TULSA.

Iowa

Rice
1. Ohio State - Could this be the first of two meetings for the Buckeyes and Wildcats this season?
2. Washington - I'm as surprised as you are, but Washington seems to be good again.
3. Michigan State - Iowa, however, is not.
4. Penn State - Ditto, Indiana.
5. Florida State - Maryland has had 2 weeks to savor that drubbing of WVU, but the Noles are far better than anyone they have played so far.
6. Rice - Tulsa has barely been competitive against crappy teams. Rice has at least bothered to show up. The Owls will cruise.
Ohio State
Stanford
Michigan State
Indiana
Florida St.
Rice
Spamsandwichsan says...
1. Ohio State over Northwestern - very good game, probably harder than Wisconsin!
2. Stanford over Washington
3. Iowa over Michigan State - another close one
4. Indiana over Penn State - basically, most of these games will be blouse because big ten = stinky (except for The Ohio State University)
5. Florida St. over Maryland
6. Rice over Tulsa
Mr. Moderator, thank you for the big time kudos. I love how that phrase in your comments section from this week's picks sounds rolling off the tongue: "Funtik is now in second place all by himself." I think that Cliff Diving Raoul can feel the hog's breath breathing down his neck...
Ohio State def. Northwestern: The Wildcats (along with Wisconsin, further evidenced by last week's game) is another Big Ten team that always plays tough against the Buckeyes, records be damned. I am still picking the Buckeyes in this one, but it will be closer than many predict. This hog thinks that the return of Mark to the Wildcats lineup lights a spark, and they play the Buckeyes tough for 3 1/2 quarters when Miller and Hyde/Hall take over the game.
Stanford def. Washington: If this game was being played in Washington, I might have picked the Huskies, but alas, it is in hippie/Silicon Valley Land, so I'm going with the Fightin' Trees. Weekly David Shaw NFL Head Coach Status Update: Negative.
Iowa def. Michigan State: Insert yearly Funtik the Hog "SPARTANS!!! (DO NOT) PREPARE FOR GLORY!!!" joke/reference here. BTW, "300: Rise of an Empire" in theaters nationwide on March 7, 2014.
Penn State def. Indiana: Three Big Ten games this week from Mr. Moderator. You do realize that there are other college football conferences playing games this weekend, right?
Florida St. def. Maryland: As much as I'd like to pick my hometown Terrapins in this game, it ain't happening this week. Mark this game as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #6 (4-1 record in such games this season).
Rice def. Tulsa: When you're a (semi) major college football team in the combination of Texas and Oklahoma and your team nickname is not Longhorns, Aggies, Horned Frogs, Bears, Sooners, or Cowboys, you're just not going to get any love at all.
