Guest Panel-Week 15 Games and Standings-FINAL WEEK

Here are the games for the Guest Panel to consider this week. Below are the standings as well. Corso still holds a two game lead, as he and Funtik both had 5-1 records. Philly Cheese continues to hold third place with a 5-1 record and left behind a large group at fourth place. Ballz was the only panelist go have a perfect 6-0 record, since most of the panel failed to predict the Auburn victory.

TIEBREAKER-Please list the total number of points scored for the Big Ten Championship Game. In the event of a tie for first place, I will look to the tiebreaker and the panelist closest to the total number of points, above or below, will break the tie and win. I will only use the tiebreaker for first place.

This is the last week for the regular season competition. The Guest Panel will return with a clean slate for the bowl games
.

Ohio State, 31-24. Bucks turn it over zero or once, they win easily; turn it over 3+ times and Sparty wins; turn it over twice, which they'll do Saturday, and it's a close one, as in seven point margin.
Auburn - Wonder if all those people that chant SEC! SEC!, and ridicule the rest of the country see any irony in a mediocre Big 12 program waltzing into the SEC! and playing for an SEC! championship in only it's second season?!? Auburn is the team of destiny however, and wins this one on a fumblerooskie in the last ten seconds...
Arizona St. - Devils at home and have improved since early season loss to Cardinals
Florida St. - Are you kidding?!?
Oklahoma St. - Oklahoma proceeds to jump ship to SEC! and play for SEC! title in 2015

Connecticut - A nice hoops matchup, a not-so-nice gridiron one :(

Spamsandwichsan says… last two weeks of mediocre picks have sealed my fate from the top spot! oh well, let’s make this round a all 4 one just like a cheezy mid 90’s r&b group and go for the glory!

1. Ohio State over Michigan State - 31 to 24 - d’Artagnan is big ten coach of the year my ass… what a conspiracy! surpassed woody’s records yet still urban is snubbed! i would think bruce could help campaign for this cause… it will probably go to Randy Edsall once Maryland joins since they will help pull that massive DC TV market… another case of delusional jim delany and all the other teams in the B1G!

2. Missouri over Auburn - Aurburn finally doesn’t get lucky and loses a close one… not enough for Mizzou to leapfrog the buckeyes (although you will hear the talking heads cry foul all weekend about how SEC is god)

3. Stanford over Arizona St. - i can see the dumb headlines about dorks vs. hot chicks… stupid how they really played up the Stanford Dorks during the USC game a few weeks ago… those new clips are as bad as an american idol FORD commercial (don’t ask me how i know this)

4. Florida St. over Duke - Duke’s alternate uniforms will be their basketball jerseys and knee high socks with the blue/white ringer stripes… complete with harlem globetrotter theme music as they take the field…

5. Oklahoma St. over Oklahoma

6. Memphis over Connecticut

Ohio State loses to Michigan State - 47 points - MKH is not thrilled to pick against the Bucks but as there's several games to make up for the regular season title - it's time to pick against the grain! If you ain't first - you're last.

Missouri beats Auburn - MKH will forgo all reference to how well Auburn's opponents play the first 59 minutes....Mizzou is the better team - and what better way to really send the BCS into a death spiral!

Stanford loses to Arizona St. - again probably not the power pick - but would be great to pick up a cheap one against the other panellists.

Duke loses to Florida St. - can't go long on this one.

Oklahoma loses to Oklahoma St. - maybe not the only OSU to pull off the win this weekend...but would be nice.

Memphis loses to Connecticut - normally would go with the southernmost team - all things being equal (or factoring a little ESPN bias) - will be a better match-up this March!

Funtik the Hog's Picks:

One last ditch effort for everyone's favorite hog. Two games behind the senile mascot-head wearing senior citizen. It'll take a miracle, but, if there's anything that Funtik knows about (other than loving to roll around in the mud), it's miracles.

Ohio State def. Michigan State (55 combined points): This game definitely has this hog worried; the Spartan(s); ([please do not] PREPARE FOR GLORY!) defense is one of the best in the country, and their offense has been better of late. They'll get a few turnovers off of "Happy Feet" Miller and the OSU offense, but, methinks that Hyde scores a TD with about 5 mins. left in the fourth quarter to provide the winning margin in a 31-24 Buckeye victory.

Missouri def. Auburn: If any of the Guest Panelists remotely think they have this game pegged, they are fooling themselves and everyone else. Going with the Mizzou Tigers here because (1) there's no way that Auburn can top the emotional high of last weekend's epic win; (2) it took nothing short of a miracle (not to mention a ridiculously stupid 4th down call by Saban, and FOUR missed FGs) just for Auburn to win that game (not to mention the first miracle play against Georgia 2 weeks before); and (3) Mizzou has a stellar defense led by high first round pick Sam. It'll be a close (TD or less) final score, but they are celebrating in Columbia come Saturday evening.

Arizona State def. Stanford: The university with the ridiculously hot co-ed student body defeats the brainiacs. In all seriousness though, all points sign to Stanford winning this game (especially since they beat ASU once already this season quite convincingly), but, the Sun Devils have won 7 straight games, and this is essentially a home game for them, and revenge is a big motivating factor. Not to mention both of Stanford's losses have come on the road. I fully expect to be wrong on this pick, but, hey, in the final regular season Guest Panel week, all bets are off.

Florida State def. Duke: Now that we've gotten that whole State of Florida investigation thing out of the way, let's play a football game! In reality though, FSU would have been playing its 3rd string QB if Winston had been formally charged, and it's quite possible I would have picked Duke in that scenario. But with Winston cleared of any wrongdoing, let Duke stick with basketball, and the real men stick with football. Mark this game down as Funtik the Hog's Clairvoyant Snout Bucket Rummage Pick of the Week #15 (13-1 record in such games thus far this season, damn, I'm good!).

Oklahoma State def. Oklahoma: My biggest disappointment of this week's games is that we're not going to be able to witness Corso wearing the ridiculous Sooner Schooner hat and firing the Sooner Gun on College Gameday in making his "fake" pick of Oklahoma. The Cowboys are one inexcusable loss vs. West Virginia from being undefeated and likely playing in this game for a spot in the national championship game. Excuse me?

Connecticut def. Memphis: What? No Michigan directional schools playing this week?! I demand a recount!
