Scouting BGSUBowling Green is 3-2 this season. They lost 14-35 to Wisconsin at Cleveland Browns Stadium, won 48-40 in a triple OT game against Buffalo, won on the road at Florida International 33-28, lost at home to Kent State 3-38 and won at Ohio 21-9.
Quarterbacks
Gone is Omar Jacobs, who was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round. The Falcons have used two starters at QB this season. Sophomore Anthony Turner is expected to start. So far he is 2-0 as a starter this season, having missed the first game due to suspension and Kent State due to an injury. Turner is 37 of 64 for 466 yards, with 4 touchdowns and three interceptions. In 2005 Turner was 61% with two touchdowns and 4 interceptions in 6 games behind Jacobs. Redshirt freshman Freddie Barnes started the two loses against Buffalo and Kent State. He is 54% for 210 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Both quarterbacks run the ball, Turner has 169 yards and Barnes leads the team with 392 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
Running backs
As mentioned earlier, QB Barnes leads the team in rushing yards, and he will sometimes lineup at running back. Redshirt freshman Chris Bullock is next with 235 yards. The starter for most of the year has been junior Dan Macon, but Bullock will get the nod this week.
Receivers
Sophomore Corey Partridge leads the Falcons with 124 yards. Filling the other spots are senior Ruben Ruiz and freshman Zach Charles. At tight end is Sean O'Drobinak. One interesting note, Partridge completed a 31 yard pass in the Ohio game last week. Another interesting note, QB Freddie Barnes has caught passes in two games this season.

Linebackers
The only returning starter is senior Terrel White at middle. At the other spots are sophomore Enrique Dozer at strongside and sophomore John Haneline at weakside. Dozier leads the team with 49 tackles.
