Notes from Purdue Game
Facing a potent Purdue offense, OSU dominated, winning 23-7. The defense did not allow Purdue to score until the last minute of the game. In fact the defense did not let Purdue get past the OSU 40 until the last drive of the game. OSU would have likely scored more if Boeckman hadn't thrown three interceptions, and if the OSU defense had caught a couple of the passes they broke up and dropped. Pretorius hit three field goals, and is 10 of 12 for the season, with a long of 44 yards. Boeckman finished 17 of 29 for 200 yards. Beanie broke his streak of 100+ games, only getting 85 yards after leaving the game early.
