Hudy Delights Picks
OSU over UM (5years in a row, it is not a rivalry when all you do is win)
Penn State over MSU - It would be nice if MSU would win but I am not holding out much hope.
Oklahoma over TX Tech
Cincy over PITT
UTah over BYU
WSU over Washington
Buckeye Cock says:
It has come to this. The pinnacle of the season is here. Let's get started.
1. OSU - The Buckeyes will be ready. They will not be overconfident because they know that in Jim Tressel's first year the Buckeyes were not ranked, the Wolvhores were, and Tressel went to Ann Arbor and won. I can't wait!
2. PSU - My initial reaction was that if Penn State won out they deserve to go to the Rose Bowl because of the way they played against us. After what we saw, I don't think they deserve it, but JoePa's senile ass will go anyways.
3. TT - That's right, Texas Tech is going to the Big 12 championship. How funny would it be if they lose that game.
4. Cinci - An Ohio team is going to a BCS game, and it might not be Ohio State.
5. Utah
6. Washington - I'm a fan of their QB, he's not that bad.
1. Ohio State over m*ch*g@n - 3-9 for the wolverines. Ha! Seriously, I am a bit concerned that with nothing left to play for after losing #7, UM had nothing to focus on but this game, so there is some chance they could pull it out. Looking at the lineups and the way the Buckeyes are playing right now, it shouldn't be close.
2. Penn State over Michigan State - I would love to be wrong on this one, but I think Penn State will rally to secure their Rose Bowl bid.
3. Oklahoma over Texas Tech - Both teams are coming off byes. Think they used the extra week to shore up their defenses? Naaaah! Look for Oklahoma to outshoot the Red Raiders, although I really only like them because they are playing at home.
4. Cincinnati over Pittsburgh - Bearcats in the BCS? It could happen!
5. Utah over BYU - This should be a pretty good game between two pretty good teams.
6. Washington over Washington State - The only thing I know about this game is that Wazzu won't lose by 87 points like they have in every other game this season. Honestly, college football would be in a better place this season if these two teams switched conferences with Utah and Boise State.
Batman (who has waited so long to climb back to the top)...
Trying not to give it all back this week here goes...
1. OSU - but don't be suprised when Mich plays OSU hard. This is the only game left for a desperate team.
2. PSU - on to the Rose Bowl, it will be a hard fought contest no doubt.
3. Oklahoma will win its first big game in a long time.
4. Cincinnati - stays solid
5. Utah - a lot of pride for bragging rights on the line.
6. Washington
1. Michigan vs. Ohio State
W-OSU: Pryor and Beanie combine for 300 rush yards in this thwomping of M*ch*gan.
2. Michigan State vs. Penn State
W-Penn State: Picking Penn State to win but I really hope I'm wrong.
3. Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma
W-Texas Tech: Harrell and Crabtree sitting in a tree - K. I. S. S. I. N. G. - First comes love - then comes marriage - then comes Harrell with a Heisman Trophy.
4. Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati
W-Cincy: How is Cincy good at football?
5. BYU vs. Utah
W-Utah:
6. Washington vs. Washington State
W-Washington: Complete guess because after having the worst record last week, I don't have the enthusiasm to care. My life dream of winning Joe's poll is coming to a disappointing end.
Pat Head’s Picks:
1. Ohio State over Michigan: Yawn…just kiddin’ ya’ll. I’m sure it’s gonna be closer than the experts predict. A win over the Buckeyes could save Dick Rod’s season, but I don’t think he’s got the talent to do it just yet.
2. Penn State over Michigan State: I’m really not sure on this one. Michigan State could ruin PSU’s hopes of going to the Rose Bowl, but PSU is tough to beat at home. So, I’m pickin’ the home team w/ the legendary coach. As a side note, when asked whether he ever wanted to be like Joe Pa, the infamous Steve Spurrier said, “I never want to be a figure head.” Remember Penn State fans, when UT was in the Citrus bowl playing the Nitney Lions in the 90’s, Suprrious said, “you can’t spell Citrus without UT.” Perhaps he was just makin’ fun of his home state team that didn’t recruit him, but he was also making fun of the No. 2 teams in the SEC and Big 10.
3. Oklahoma over Texas Tech: Leach hasn’t bested the Sooners in Norman since takin’ over the Red Raiders. He’s gonna fall short again.
4. Cincinnati over Pitt: The Big East keeps beatin’ up on each other this season, which means that Pitt may beat UC, however, I think the Bearcats will be ready for the Panthers in front of the home crowd.
5. Utah over BYU: Utah is known as the Beehive state? Not sure why that’s funny, but it is. Utah will win and ultimately finish the season undefeated and complain about not playing in the title game.
6. Washington over Washington State: Wow talk about the bottom of the barrel in the Pack 10. Wouldn’t it be great if the Huskies beat Cal at the end of the season? I’m evil!
OLD BAGGAGE OF MAN STATES:
1) OSU. INSTEAD OF SECURITY CHECKS FOR MICHIGAN AT THE STADIUM, INS WILL BE THERE INVESTIGATING A "RODRIGUEZ" IN THE STADIUM.
2) PSU. IT'D BE NICE IF WE GOT THAT ROSE BOWL BID BUT I DON'T SEE MSU WINNING.
3) TEXAS TECH. THIS OFFENSE IS LIKE A VIDEO GAME OFFENSE.
4) UC. AND THE PATHETIC BIG EAST SENDS UC TO A BCS BOWL.
5) UTAH. KEEPING THE BCS ON THEIR TOES.
6) WASHINGTON. THIS IS LIKE PICKING BENGALS VS LIONS.
Nostrapigskinus Declares:
Ohio State def. Michigan: This is almost becoming too easy nowadays. I wonder if RichRod is going to attempt to poison Pryor's pre-game meal on Saturday morning.
Penn State def. Michigan State: JoePa's possible final home game as head coach, a trip to the Rose Bowl on the line, the Big Ten Championship, the Spartans have never beaten JoePa at the "Beav", all adds up to a W for the Nittanys and a trip to Pasadena.
Oklahoma def. Texas Tech: As much as I've taken a liking to Texas Tech recently (their head coach has a 6 ft. tall pirate in his office, what's NOT to like about this guy and his team?!), they lose to a better all-around opponent this week, and jumble the BCS mess even further. I think if Oklahoma beats TX Tech, then the Big 12 North champ beats whomever from the South in the conference title game, and Florida beats Alabama in the SEC title game, the BCS title game will probably be Ball State vs. Utah, am I right?
Pittsburgh def. Cincinnati: I know a lot of my fellow Guest Panelists will be upset with me on this pick, but Pittsburgh is one of the hotter teams in the country recently, and Wannstedt finally appears to have gotten his act together. Post-game victory dinner at Skyline for the victorious Panthers.
Utah def. BYU: Transitive property goes into effect for this game: TCU beat BYU, Utah beat TCU, hence, Utah beats BYU. Watch me end up being wrong, of course.
Washington def. Washington State: Wow, is anyone outside the State of Washington going to watch this game? Probably the worst two teams in the FBS. Wow. This is just shameful. Don James and Ryan Leaf must be vomiting right now at the prospect of having to watch this game.

Spamsandwichsan says...
1. Ohio State over Michigan - Gotta pick the bucks! I'm not going to be over confident on this one, but I think OSU will be able to dominate the defense, which hasn't happend lately. Everyone is expecting an OSU win, so I hope they can step up to the plate. If not, it will be very painful to return to work on Monday and face the critics, but I have confidence!
2. Michigan State over Penn State - after the close loss in 2006, i think the spartans will have some extra motivation to head into 'sad' valley to totally redeem themselves! penn state has shown some signs of weakness, and i think they will be over confident at home.
3. Texas Tech over Oklahoma - man, this will be the game to watch. my main concern is how will the BCS handle a loss by either team? too many possibilities and x beat y but lost to z going on. i like coach leech (especially after his churchill citation after the texas game), and i think they have what it takes to win the big 12. might come back to bite me, but they haven't let me down all season!
4. Cincinnati over Pittsburgh - for a minute, I was worried joe was making us pick the Bengals/Steelers game on thursday! if that was the case, i would have to pick the bengals. most people would look at their record and think they have to loose, but just as I watch the stock market, after so much loosing, there is no where to go but up? anyway... back to the NCAA... i'll pick the bearcats simply based on their proximity... and the fact that the last time I was in pittsburg i was 'FORCED' to attend a justin timberlake concert... was the post-concert sex in the parking lot worth it?? justin seemed to think so!!
5. Utah over BYU - both teams came from no where this year. i hope one of them makes it to a BCS game just to prove the system is bogus. am i biased? of course! who will pay to watch either of these clowns in January? BCS=Money. With that in mind, both teams will drop out of the top 10 after this game, no matter the outcome!
6. Washington over Washington State - does Pac-10 stand for 10 losses? these teams go to show that maybe it's not the best for all schools to have sports programs. if they took the 'decent' schools, it would be the Pac-2 at best (maybe Pac-3 if you are being generous). we wouldn't need so many damn bowl games or four TV stations dedicated to a single conference (big ten network?? still a waste!). maybe ND will shop Charlie Weis to one of these two schools when the Irish alumni get ahold of him after this season! anyway, i'll go with Washington... they are 'overdue' for a win!
