The Series

This is the 96th game between OSU and Illinois with OSU leading the series 61-30-4. Between 1914 and 2002 the two teams met every year. Last year OSU won 30-20. Two years ago in Columbus Illinois got the best of Ohio State beating them 28-21 in Columbus temporarily delaying the Buckeyes’ championship game hopes. OSU has won four of the last five games, but Illinois has won three of the last four in Ohio Stadium. OSU leads overall in Columbus 26-18-4.
