This Season
It has been a difficult season for the Hoosiers, with one win and eight losses, including a 0-5 record in the Big Ten. The one win was against South Carolina St. in the third weekend (38-21). The losses have been against Ball State (20-27), Virginia (31-34), North Texas (21-24), Penn State (10-16), Illinois (20-41), Wisconsin (7-59), Iowa (24-45), and Northwestern (38-59). Indiana averages 23 points/game, while allowing opponents to score 36 points/game. Indiana averages 163 rushing yards and 214 passing yards. The Indiana defense allows 234 rushing yards and 223 passing yards.

At QB is true freshman Tre Roberson, who has been the starter since the Iowa game. He had 197 passing yards against Iowa and 121 rushing yards against Northwestern. Gone from the team are two of the better receivers, Damarlo Belcher and Duwyce Wilson. Belcher was suspended for the Northwestern game for a team rule violation and was dismissed from the team earlier this week. Belcher was a senior and he was close to breaking the Indiana receptions record. Wilson had a knee injury last week against Northwestern and is expected to miss the rest of the year. At receiver are Cody Latimer, Kofi Hughes, Jamonne Chester, and TE Max Dedmond. Latimer is in his first year as a receiver, with a high of 44 yards against North Texas. Hughes had 45 receiving yards against Iowa. Running the ball is RB Stephen Houston and D'Angelo Roberts. Houston had 151 rushing yards against Northwestern. Also running the ball will be QB Roberson and also WR Hughes in the wildcat formation.

Defense
Leading the defensive line is Larry Black. The leaders at linebacker are Leon Beckum and Jeff Thomas. Beckum returned for the Iowa game after missing time with an injury. Beckum had 13 tackles against Northwestern. The leader in the secondary is Greg Heban. Heban had nine tackles against Penn State and sack against Iowa.
