Offense
At QB, senior Zac Dysert is poised to overtake Ben Roethlisberger in career passing yards at Miami this season. In fact he is third in the nation in active career passing yards with 8,530 yards behind Oklahoma's Landry Jones and Southern California's Matt Barkley. His career completion percentage is .641. Receiver Nick Harwell was second in NCAA last year with 129 yards/game. The running game for Miami is a bit of an afterthought, but senior Justin Semmes earned the starting spot. He had a 100-yard last year against Akron.
Defense
The defensive line has six returning lettermen. Linebacker Evan Harris has six interceptions including two defensive touchdowns. At cornerback, Dayonne Nunley has nine interceptions in two seasons.
