Another Bye-Week?

There has been quite a bit of discussion in the media over the fact that this is the third consecutive rested opponent, coming into the Ohio State game after a bye-week. The first rested opponent was Northwestern, then Iowa, and now Penn State. This streak will continue as Ohio State's next opponent Purdue is off this week.

Another Night Game?

This is the third night game of the season, with previous evening kickoffs against Wisconsin and Northwestern. This is the last OSU night game on the schedule, although the Big Ten Championship is scheduled for 8PM on December 7. Overall Ohio State is 38-20 in games starting after 5PM EST. There have been four previous night games (2005, 2007, 2008, 2012) involving Ohio State and Penn State and each team has won twice.
