Nike has unveiled the Nike Pro Combat uniform that will be worn by Ohio State during the Michigan game this season. OSU is one of ten Nike schools with the new one-time uniform. Like last year, this uniform is inspired, not a replica, of a uniform from the past. This uniform was inspired by the 1942 OSU National Championship team uniform. It is a homage to that team and the players that went on to serve in WWII. The jersey is scarlet, script numbers, and a scarlet helmet. In honor of the armed forces it has a US flag on the sleeve and it has a camouflage base (which is hard to see in the picture). I'll put up more pics as they are released.
