What to Expect

The Rockets are a favorite in the MAC, but that doesn't necessarily translate to success against the Big Ten. Toledo's defense didn't look great against New Hampshire last week, and it appears they are especially susceptible to the pass. Look for OSU to get 200 on the ground and 250 yards in the air. Carlos Hyde will start at RB and Jordan Hall will get plenty of touches. If Jamaal Berry plays, that means Rod Smith may not get into the game until late in the second half, if at all. The spread offense of Toledo will likely move the ball on some of the drives, and may get 175 in the air and 150 yards on the ground against the OSU defense. The kick returns by Toledo's Eric Page could be a problem for the Buckeyes, as he is someone that will likely play on Sundays in the future. Toledo also has a capable kicker, so they will score some points. OSU will win the game 45-17.
