It is difficult to know which Ohio State or Miami team will show up at the night game this Saturday. Looking at stats is not helpful, as both teams were missing players in the first game(s) of the season and both teams are still missing players. However, even with players returning it appears Miami is weak against the pass, giving up 348 passing yards to Maryland. OSU must develop a more consistent offense this game, and Jordan Hall should help out in the running back department. Hall will take his talents to South Beach and add a dimension to the offense with his catching and running. Out this week for OSU will be receiver Corey "Philly" Brown who hurt his ankle last week, and DL Nathan Williams who had knee surgery after missing last week's game.
OSU will depend on the young receivers, who have had some great catches in the first two games. Oh and don't forget about Jake Stonebrunner at TE, as he leads the team in TD receptions. For Miami, Jacory Harris is back and brings experience to the QB position, but he also brings his baggage. Look for the Buckeye defense to force some passes leading to some incompletions and interceptions. OSU should get 260 yards in the air and 210 yards on the ground. OSU will win this very close game 28-27.
